We have learned that I will need in home with another dog.

Meet Agave,

She is sweet and loving once she feels you are trustworthy. She will shy away at first and needs time to adjust to any new person.  She has been through a lot in her life.
According to her current foster she has bonded well with her.  She would do well with doggie sibling to help her feel comfortable. Agave is afraid of men. She will hide from them.

Cats are a non issue.  She is submissive and will hide when she is scared, or run away from what she is scared of.  She doesn't have an aggressive bone in her body.  She just needs to learn to trust.  A soft hand and voice, a doggie friend and she will be shining in no time.

Agave did test positive for heartworm and will be receiving treatment provided by MARS to live a long healthy life.

*A dog with Heartworms is not directly contagious to other animals. Heartworms are transmitted by an infected mosquito.

*The pet you are viewing is a rescued pet which is most often from an animal control facility and does not come with a pedigree. The breed(s) listed are our best guess and are in no way guaranteed. Sometimes the pets appear to be a particular breed(s) in the pictures we receive from our rescue partners and when they arrive we are surprised to see an entirely different breed(s) in person!  If you choose to DNA test your adopted pet, test results may vary from company to company and our breed guess may not be reflected in those results as it is just that, our best guess. It is with deep longing that we wish there was a breed called "cute" as we believe all of our dogs would fall under this new breed classification!
